Courage Under Fire (1996)
Catch Matt Damon as Specialist Ilario
Theatrical Release Date: July 12, 1996
Summary: Meg Ryan hides her squeeky clean image under the rug for this one and gets a bit dirty for her role alongside Denzel Washington and Matt Damon. A little family melodrama and a lot of courage is mixed into this film. Denzel Washington gives a strong performance, although Demi Moore during her bald days would have made a better fit then cutesy Meg, who desperately tries to shake off her Seattle days. Matt Damon, though, does a pretty fine job of playing a guilt-ridden Veteran of the Persian Gulf war. Comparable to 'A Few Good Men,' and good enough if that's the type of stuff that's up your alley.Matt Damon Movies:
