Dogma (1999)
Catch Matt Damon as Loki
Theatrical Release Date: November 12, 1999
Summary: Matt Damon and friends take a little road trip and hop down to New Jersey where the water is always clean and the girls are never mean. He plays an angel, but not the type of angel you'd come across in other biblical cross-referencing films. In this comedy, he plays Loki, the angel of death who pairs up with the great-grandniece of Jesus Christ in order to fight evil and save humanity on earth with all the committed force of the Power Rangers. In this film Salma Hayak maintains her perkiness throughout and Alanis Morrissette puts all of her feminist 'I hate my ex-boyfriends' rage in her pocket and plays the role of God. And yes, the first scene was filmed at Newark International Airport.Matt Damon Movies:
