Summary: Matt creeps us out a little bit in this movie, and that is what makes this film so damn good. Here, we've got Italy, we've got the 1950s, a very sexy Jude Law, a Gwyneth Paltrow during better times, and our anti-hero Tom Ripley. Basically, Matt steals this one away from the other A-listers and carries the weight of the film on his shoulders all on his own. It takes lots of practice convincing others that you're their best trust-worthy friend while nonchalantly stabbing them from unknown places.
